MC Fava began organising Jungle Club events in Freiburg in 2001, taking an early role in the drum-and-bass scene in his hometown. From Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, he works as an MC, vocalist and DJ. His performances move between rhythmic MCing and melodic singing, with deep rhymes, sung passages and crowd-hyping chants among the approaches associated with his vocal style. He is especially comfortable performing over melodic drum and bass, and his work has taken him on international tours across every continent.
His vocals have featured on releases for Hospital Records, Med School, V Recordings, Spearhead Records, Commercial Suicide and Fokuz Recordings. He co-runs the South German drum-and-bass label Beatalistics Records with Enea. His releases include the EP Destiny on Beatalistics and a 2019 EP on Spearhead Records, followed by a solo EP on V Recordings in 2022. In 2023, SUNANDBASS Recordings released his album Lifetracks. His collaborations include the track “Vielleicht Vielleicht” with John B, the single “Fly” with Keeno and the single “Heading Home” with Paul T & Edward Oberon.
In 2017, MC Fava performed as MC with the London Elektricity Big Band at Slovakia’s Pohoda Festival, hosting a 22-piece band. Hospital Records released a live recording of the performance. In 2024, he released the single “Left Right” with MC Mota and SiLi on Liquicity Records, and the single “Run From You (Original Mix)” with Snik on Absys Records. The following year brought “Vielleicht Vielleicht (DnB Remix),” a single with John B on Beta Recordings.
In 2026, MC Fava released the single “Broken Soul” with Enea and Paze on Beatalistics, followed by “Breathe,” a single with Snik on Cold Tear Records. He also played at Grotesk on 15 August, appearing on a bill that included Workforce, RinneRadio, Physics, VeinZ and ANÜBIS. Earlier that year, on 29 May, he performed at Void Hall alongside Upzet, Shaded Lines and Nerv.
