Newcastle upon Tyne producer Jack Cruz began learning music production in 2023 under the name Kruzie. The music spans drum and bass, 140, garage and jungle, while Cruz also works as a creative and runs the graphic-design business CruzDesign. Kruzie’s breakout release, “Ferrari Horses”, came out on Lithuania HQ and reworked Raye’s “Prada”; it helped take combined Spotify and SoundCloud plays beyond one million. Other label homes include Kingdom Audio, DNBShack, Bruised Records, Akimbo Audio and PureFilth Records. The 2023 single “Never Fade” was released under the name Kruzie.
Bruised Records released the Ravers EP, while ALTERED STATE pairs Kruzie with Ragla on Akimbo Audio. The single “Discretion” came out on Pure Filth Records, and “Daydream” is a collaboration with Mr Traumatik. Kruzie has also worked with Primate, Sub Zero, T-Lex, Premium and Original Sin, as well as labels including Exert Records, Nuform, Invicta Audio, DNBAllstars and Tsunami. The digital track “Kunta Kinte Dub” was released on 8 July 2025. The 2025 collaboration “Daydream” with Mr Traumatik appeared on Multidimensional Music. In 2026, Kruzie released “One More Time” on Glitch.. and “Mercy” with Tens on FTR Sounds.
