K-Tee began making music with school friends on an Amiga computer before starting work with producer Stakka in 1992. Also known as Keir Tyrer, K-Tee made early releases with Stakka through Just Dance Recordings. Their first release was “Ruffneck Ragga”, followed by “Brockin Out” and “Serious Intention” on Liftin’ Spirit in 1994. The 1995 single Brockin' Out / Serious Intention and Rugged & Raw / Bad Influence also came out on Liftin Spirit Records with Stakka. In 1996, the pair released Danger Zone / Hear Say on RAM Records and Ya Don't Stop / Dream World on Liftin Spirit Records.
Stakka & K-Tee released Mainline / Andromeda on Liftin Spirit Records in 1997. K-Tee later put out music on Audio Blueprint and Underfire, and worked with Stakka, Friction and NuBalance as the Militia. Shogun Audio became an outlet for productions made with Friction: the pair remixed Jonny L’s “Back To Your Roots” in 2007, then released the track “Untitled Blues” in 2008. K-Tee is a drum and bass producer and DJ, as well as a co-owner of Shogun Audio.
