Dubai-born Pavan Mukhi, of Indian heritage, performs as PAV4N. Before starting his solo project, he helped found London electronic rap group Foreign Beggars, where he performed as Orifice Vulgatron. He has described PAV4N as a way to bring his creative ideas together without compromise. The name joins a variation of Pavan with “4N”, a phonetic nod to Foreign Beggars.
His single KARMA draws on Indian culture and heritage, with a video filmed in New Delhi, Vrindavan and Mathura. In 2020, PAV4N founded the 4NC¥ label to spotlight emerging South East Asian artists. That year he also featured with MUZZ and Miss Trouble on the single The Warehouse. His EP releases include Supply & Demand, made with Abstrakt Sonance and Foreign Beggars, and Natural Selection, made with WRAZ.
PAV4N is part of Pataka Boys with Sonnyjim and Kartik. The project released the album Thugs From Amritsar in 2024. In 2025, PAV4N released the EP Make Some Noise.
