Rameses B

Leeds-based British producer and DJ Rameses B is the stage name of Rameses Kevin Booth. A school friend lent Booth the PlayStation 2 game Music Generator 2, which prompted him to start making music in 2003. He became established under the Rameses B name in 2010, taking its final letter from his surname. That year, New Horizons appeared as a single on TDFM; later, MrSuicideSheep featured the track on YouTube, helping bring his music to a wider audience. Booth has described his music as a personal diary and said he keeps releases non-exclusive to retain creative freedom.

Rameses B’s melodic electronic music ranges across drum and bass, chill-out, ambient, dubstep and psytrance. He has put out music through Monstercat, Liquicity, NCS and Seeking Blue, as well as independently. Monstercat released the Timeless EP in 2013, followed by the albums Reborn in 2014, Spacewalk in 2018, Cosmonauts in 2020 and Event Horizon in 2023. His other EPs include Dream Catcher EP in 2014, Ether EP in 2017 and Sonder in 2022. His music has also featured in the video game Rocket League.

Collaborations have included Charlotte Haining on the single “Come & Go” and Laura Brehm on “Transformations”. On the EP Memoirs, Rameses B included remixes and “I Need You”, writing lyrics for Charlotte to sing. Veela has worked with him on “Midnight Drift” and “after dark”. Rameses B has said that he prefers to focus on producing music rather than live performance, keeping his work centred on studio production.

In 2026, Rameses B released the single “Gamble” with eerie on NCS, “Tokyo Drift” on NUFORM, and “Midnight Drift” with Veela on Monstercat. “Star Wars (the Force Theme) [Reloaded]” followed as a single credited to Less Gravity & Rameses B, with Less Gravity; “Tung Tung Tung Sahur (Italian Brainrot)” was also released as a single under the Rameses B name.
