Rido is the stage name of Prague-based producer Pavel Ridoško, who studied sound engineering at SAE in Sydney before returning to Prague to focus on music production. Alongside producing drum and bass, he works as a composer and sound engineer. Rido has said breakbeats drew him to the genre, and that broken rhythms offer creative possibilities.
He founded Plat:form as a label and curatorial project for solo and collaborative work. His 2016 album Rhythm of Life followed releases on Metalheadz, Blackout, Hospital and Obsessions, the label associated with Black Sun Empire. With producer Hybris, Rido made the Metalheadz EP The Prague Connection.
His 2010 single Coincidence / Synthesia came out on Disturbed Recordings. In 2025, Rido released “Trippin (Rido Remix)” on Flexout Audio and “Offline Rido Remix” on WM Czech Republic with Dryman and Pio Squad. That year, he also released “Yet To Come” on Plat:form with Anna Vaverková and Phonetick.
