Wingz

In Vienna, Markus Kocar began DJing in 2008, years before he taught himself music production in 2013. His work is associated with the minimal, technical side of the genre. He has also put out music on Blackout Music, VISION and Sofa Sound.

Since 2018, Wingz has been a core artist on Overview Music, releasing EPs and singles for the label. His earlier releases also include work for Flexout, Cyberfunk and Context, as well as Dispatch Recordings and The Mob Recordings. The VISION release “Displaced” is a remix for Noisia. On “Not Here”, he worked with Koherent; “Sudden / Fragment” is a collaboration with Phentix. Other joint releases and projects have brought him together with Waeys, En:vy, Creatures, YAANO, Submarine and Rueben, while “Yellowjacket” is a collaboration with Waeys.

Wingz’s EP Affection features vocals by Sammie Hall. In 2024, he released the 12-track album Ghost on Overview Music, with vocalists including Collette Warren. In 2026, his releases included the single “Crossroads / Give You Anything” on ThirtyOne Recordings and the EP Feisar EP on Nyx Recordings. “Yellowjacket” also appeared as a single on Overview Music, while “Styx / Fracture”, made with M:FX and Serpnt, was released on Dispatch Recordings. That year, Wingz also released the single “Pretend / Like That” on Gemini Gemini.

Wingz played at Aztec Club in Innsbruck in June 2026 and at PRST on 2 October 2026. The latter date was part of a club night, following earlier 2026 appearances in Hong Kong and at EXIT.
