Anaïs Jan began DJing after visiting Bristol and seeing her friend Anton perform with Invicta Audio, then learned production during lockdown with help from fellow producer Oppidan. Now based in Bristol, Anaïs works as a drum-and-bass DJ and producer. Chase & Status and Skrillex are among the artists Anaïs has named as inspirations for making music. She developed her production through Hospital Records’ women’s mentorship programme, and released the Ultrasounds EP on the label. Anaïs has described “Origins” as her first attempt at a dramatic track without vocals at the forefront, and has also named “Sprinta” as a track she enjoys playing.
Anaïs has released music through Hospital Records, Invicta Audio, Monstercat and Souped Up Records. Her collaborations include “Wicked” with Sudley and Flowdan, “Bullet in the Dance” with JohnnieDarko, and “Made In Romania” with Danny Byrd, released through Byrdhouse. In 2025, Anaïs teamed up with P Money for the single “CALM” on CMMN. GRND, and with Bluff and D Double E for the single “Doin A Lot” on Bluku Music. The 2025 single “Made In Romania (Remixes)” also came through Byrdhouse with Danny Byrd. Anaïs released the single “Redline” with Skyelle, Hayve and Laminar through Hospital Records, and “Round Town” with Olivia Rose through UKF.
