hayve is a Finnish-Israeli electronic music duo formed by Aaro and Omer, whose roots are in Finland and Tel Aviv. The pair works mainly in drum and bass and dubstep, while also producing other forms of electronic music. Aaro has described drum and bass production as technically demanding, noting that polishing even an eight-bar loop can take hours. hayve has released music through Monstercat, NCS, Viper Recordings and Odio Records. Aaro has also described the duo’s relationship with Monstercat A&R Going Quantum as close, noting that Going Quantum is a friend and fellow artist.
NCS collaborations include Feel Alive with More Plastic and Half Alive with imallryt. On Monstercat, the duo worked with Protostar on Isolation, F.O.O.L on Valhalla and Bossfight on Deadlock. A writing camp organised by Monstercat and Hospital Records led to hayve’s collaboration with Anaïs. Aaro said the work began spontaneously, with the artists building the track together in Ableton before finishing it through voice and Discord sessions. The collaboration became the single IDGAF. hayve also joined producer-songwriter DRIIA for the single What Are We Proving.
