Simula returns to Critical Music for a very special link-up with one of the most soulful voices in drum & bass, Javeon.
Renowned for his love of the dark and macabre, ‘Smokescreen’ sees Simula putting his typically brutal sonic style aside for a smooth, rolling slice of vocal drum & bass.
Built around ultra low subs and a classic two-step drum break, Javeon’s rich vocals carry the groove forward, as some clever house-of-horror organ touches give the track Simula’s unmistakable hallmark.
