BeatsBassLife is the revived name of Life Recordings, the label founded in 2009 by Sigma members Cam and Joe. After a six-year hiatus they relaunched the London label to develop emerging talent and to issue drum and bass and other dance music, including jump up. While operating as Life Recordings, the label put out Sigma’s “El Presidente VIP” and “Front to Back”, plus music by Break and Bladerunner and DJ Limited’s debut single.
BCee and Ruth Royall’s “Sunshine” appeared as a single in 2022. In 2023 the label put out Life on the Dancefloor, its first various-artists EP. Bare Up, Dread MC and Dynamite MC joined forces for the 2025 single “Dealing With The Best”, and DRZ is also among the artists to have released music on the label.
