Boomslang Recordings is a drum and bass label based in Dallas, Texas, focused on neurofunk and related darker, technical styles. The duo Noize Komplaint created it in 2016 as an outlet for their own productions, and it launched as a drum and bass imprint in 2020.
Canadian producer NC-17's "Clockers" / "Cemetery of Splendour" was the label's second release in 2020. Its Slither EP series brought together tracks by SST, Noize Komplaint, Bad Martian and Vmbrella, with the four-track Slither EP Vol. 2 arriving on August 27, 2021, and the label also issued the Boomslang 2021 Annual compilation. AL/SO and Impex's Epic followed on March 25, 2022, and Dropset and Shadow Sect released the Drums of War EP in 2023.
Its releases also include ESKR's The Ecdysis LP and the Valles Marineris EP and Terraform EP, and the label has put out music by Heist, Transforma, Jaybee and Hyperbots.
