Function Records is a UK label for drum and bass and jungle, based in Ipswich and owned by Digital, also known as Steve Carr. Spirit, Response and Nomine have released on it alongside Digital himself. Digital founded the label in 1999, first operating it through Timeless Music Group, and relaunched it in 2014. He has said that running the label gives him room to release music of his choice and experiment without following another person’s agenda.
The label issued Digital’s Fist Of Fury EP in 2008 and has released music by Coco Bryce. Its relaunch included the Respek Da Foundation EP, featuring Digital, Response and Dub Phizix. Other releases include Digital’s Forever EP with DJ Crystl and Outrage, and his archival collection Spacefunk – The Archives, covering recordings made from 1995 to 2008. In 2026, Coco Bryce and Digital released the single CBD on the label.
