Gradient Records was established in 2015 by a group of drum and bass fans, and its releases focus on experimental music within the genre. Artists associated with its output work in liquid funk, techstep and neurofunk, and releases include music by Amplify, Herbz, Devilman, Nu Elementz and Bunnerz. In 2020, Hexa and KL collaborated on “Connected, Pt. 2,” released as a Gradient Records single. The label also issued Devilman’s single “Too Attractive” in 2026. It puts out new music monthly. Escalation Sound is the label’s sister imprint. In 2022, DNB Arena nominated Gradient Records in the Best Newcomer Label category for its award.
