!K7 Records is a Berlin label founded in 1996 by Horst Weidenmueller as the record outlet of Studio !K7. Its early releases covered techno, house and breakbeat, and over the years it has worked with artists such as Matthew Herbert and A Guy Called Gerald. The label belongs to the !K7 group alongside Strut and 7K!, and Ever Records has also been one of its imprints. Adrian Hughes was its label manager in 2014.
!K7 is the home of DJ-Kicks, the mix-album series Studio !K7 started in 1993, which has featured Carl Craig and Peggy Gou among many others. The label’s drum and bass links run through Photek’s DJ-Kicks mix, released in 2012, and Kloke’s single “Museum / Flow State” from 2022, while Breach has also released music on !K7.
