Murky Digital is a digital drum and bass label based in Portsmouth, United Kingdom. A collective of DJs and producers established the label, which puts out work from artists at different stages of their careers, from emerging acts to established names. Its tracks bring together shadowy basslines, detailed rhythms and soulful melodic elements, drawing on dark, deep and dirty sounds.
Elsta owns and runs Murky Digital, and founded the Murky Drum and Bass brand. Its releases run from Kre and Nu Elementz’s Remix Series Part 1 in 2014 to Conrad Subs’ Widowmaker in 2022. Other artists whose music has appeared on the label include T>I, Amplify, DJ Hybrid and Operate. Its compilations include Murky Digital Selections Vol. 2.
