NeurofunkGrid started in 2010 to promote neurofunk drum and bass, and its label is based in Montpellier, France. Axel and Sampo launched it after co-running the NeurofunkGrid YouTube promotion channel; Axel created the label and managed it himself. Its releases include drum-and-bass EPs such as Impak’s The Hum EP and Khronos’s Pandemonium EP, alongside singles by AKOV, Mean Teeth and Merikan. The label also released AnatomiX’s Gigerbeatz. By August 2014, The Hum EP was the label’s tenth release. AKOV’s “Burn It Down” came out in 2016, followed the next year by “Disclosure,” made by Mean Teeth and Merikan. Khronos’s Pandemonium was released on January 9, 2017, as NFG013.
