Peer Pressure is a drum and bass label now based in London and run by Facing Jinx and Philth. It began as a project run from California by Matt Beebe; after their first tracks came out, the two producers were asked to look after its international side and went on to run the label together, with Philth in charge of A&R.
Their joint single "Miss Understanding / Hidden Beauty" and Philth's Midnight Son EP were among the first releases in 2010, and Philth followed with Perfect Moments EP in 2012, Inspiration EP in 2013 and The Elements in 2016. Creatures, Mozey, DLR, Hyroglifics and Wreckless have also released there.
The Breaking Ground series gives newer producers a first outing, while Artist Choice 2018 collected tracks chosen by the label's artists from their own EPs. Facing Jinx's debut album For the Good of it All came out on Peer Pressure in 2020 after plans to release it on Med School fell through when that label closed. Formik and Philth's One Perfect Moment (VIP) followed in 2024, and the label also puts on club nights and festival stages.
