Phase Records DNB is an underground drum and bass label based in East London, founded and directed by Gabrielle Zanot-Beard, known as Gifta. It started as an online DJ-streaming community during the COVID-19 pandemic and moved into releases with the compilation Perspectives in September 2022. Its sound is dark drum and bass that mixes minimal textures, forceful rollers and tech-focused neurofunk, a blend the label calls “Skatimal”, and several of its tracks have reached the charts.
O/MEGA manages the label and helps with A&R, while Dapreme and Xyde serve as A&R managers. Its roster has included Hexa, R3IDY, HØST and Dub Elements. The remix collection Mitosis Vol.1 came out in January 2025, the same year as Ominous and T>I’s Mutation (T>I Remix), and Hexa’s Wormhole EP followed in 2026. Phase Records DNB runs live events and artist showcases, including its own stage at Hospitality on the Beach in 2024, headlined by Waeys.
