Spectre Audio was established in 2015 by a group of music enthusiasts. The UK label is based in Aveley and releases drum and bass in techstep, liquid funk, jump-up and neurofunk styles. It also holds showcases and events for emerging artists. Its releases include work by Skibadee and Operate, alongside other artists on the label.
In 2017, the label issued Nobody, a single by Akomplis, Indiekai and Mr Traumatik. AC13’s Sensei / The Operator came out in 2019, alongside Fanatics’ Möbius and Smuggler’s Money Time. Dancefloor drum and bass also featured in its output, which was primarily jump-up. Spectre Audio was active from 2015 to 2019.
