SubCarbon began in 2009, when Ganja White Night created the label to release its own music after finding no suitable home for it elsewhere. Its releases take in dubstep, drum and bass and other electronic styles, and the label is open to music beyond dubstep. SubCarbon Records is based in Los Angeles.
Subtronics, Dirt Monkey, Rusko and Eater have all released music on SubCarbon. In 2019 it put out “Headband (Flip),” a single by Chee, Ganja White Night and Subtronics, and in 2023 it issued Eater’s four-track Invader EP. Wraz., PAV4N, P Money and Noer the Boy have also appeared on the label, and in 2026 it released “Dead End” by Criso and Phosphr.
