Symbiotik Records is a Vienna drum and bass label founded in 2021 by Screamarts, AKOV and Pluvio. It was launched for neuro-breaks, a blend of neuro and breakbeat, and its experimental, heavy output also covers darkstep and neurofunk, with room for anything from rolling, soulful tracks to big dancefloor material.
Its 2021 releases included AKOV and Screamarts’ Tartarus / Biogenesis and AKOV’s Locust / Geek (SMBTK002). The 2022 Hive Mind 001, featuring AKOV, Screamarts and Pluvio, marked the start of releases by other artists, and the Hivemind series has continued since, with Hivemind 03 by AKOV, Drumago and Foks in 2026. Screamarts and AKOV released Swamp Tech/9mm on 17 June 2024, Finalfix has also appeared on the label, and AKOV’s Got Something To Say/Turn The Lights Off (SMBTK021) followed on 9 February 2026.
