An album by São Paulo musician Urbandawn has been released on Hospital Records. Felipe Wrechiski had previously made his mark with two EPs on Hospital, and his debut album was a logical continuation of his residency at the label. The album contains seventeen tracks: complex sound design combined with rolling drums, funky riffs and a cinematic atmosphere. As an experienced sound engineer, Urbandown incorporates not only Brazilian musical traditions into his music, but also elements of rock, metal and even Swedish folk groups from the mid-90s. This combination makes his sound unique and explains the ever-growing support for his work from the heavyweights of the drum and bass scene. The Brazilian producer’s album will not go unnoticed this time either and will surely become another striking example of the diversity of drum and bass music for listeners.
