Pete Cannon’s four-track 8-bit Shift E.P is another N4 Records outing built around his Amiga production, delivering the label’s own description of four “bang-fests” with a hardcore-jungle edge. The track titles range from the dancefloor cue of “Dancin” to the darker “Believe In Darkness,” with “By Your Side” closing the set.
N4 pressed a limited vinyl edition with a floppy disc sample pack containing sounds used to make the EP—a fitting extension of Cannon’s long-running 8-bit and Amiga theme on the label.
