Battery & Philth return to Dispatch Blueprints with Blueprints 023, continuing a journey that began with their landmark Majesty EP on Dispatch - a release that sparked a long-running partnership and the creation of the Majesty brand. Written together in the Battery studios, these four tracks lean deeper into the soulful, emotive influences that have shaped their sound, with a firm nod to jungle, liquid funk and the house-inflected drum & bass legacy of Marcus Intalex.
From the euphoric, rudeboy jungle energy of Sunshine featuring Deeizm, to the deep, driving soul of Stay, the Swerve-era nostalgia of Moving On with Craggz on guitar, and the future-leaning RnB-DnB fusion of Thighs, this release captures a modern take on classic sonics. Crafted using analogue gear and true in-room collaboration, Blueprints 023 feels right at home on the Blueprints series.
