Ant TC1 launched Dispatch Recordings in the early 2000s, initially to put out collaborative material made with Hidden Agenda. The UK label is based in Leeds and releases deep, rolling drum and bass. Hidden Agenda was also involved in founding the label, whose first release, in 2001, came from the duo. Survival, DLR and Kid Drama have issued music through Dispatch Recordings. Nymfo and Zero T have released tracks there as well.
Survival’s single Alpine came out on the label in 2007. In 2011, Dispatch Recordings put out the mix-CD compilation Transit One. Ant TC1 was solely responsible for running the label by 2013, after Hidden Agenda’s Jason stepped away. A 2021 collection brought together 14 tracks from the label’s early output, spanning 2001 to 2003. Dispatch Recordings has organized label nights in cities across Europe.
