Ed:it

Ed:it is the Nottingham drum-and-bass project of producer and DJ Ed Warrener, who began releasing music in 2010. Early releases appeared on Critical Music, Demand Records and Flexout Audio. Warrener is based in the United Kingdom. His music has been described as soulful and gritty.

In 2014, Ed:it put out “Sound Killer” and “I Would” on SGN:LTD, Shogun Audio’s imprint, and joined the Shogun roster after those releases. His work has also reached Hospital Records, Med School, C.I.A., Blu Mar Ten Music and Rooted Recordings. At Shogun, the Pathways EP and South City EP arrived in 2016; the former received a review that year. Collaboration and remix work has brought Ed:it together with Pennygiles, Hyroglifics, Overlook and Eastcolors.

His releases also include the 2011 single “Coexistence” on Flexout Audio. Dispatch Recordings and Commercial Suicide are among the other labels to release his music. In 2023, he released “Relicked - Part One” on Addictive Behaviour Records.

In 2025, Ed:it released Stay True EP on Truth Hertz and Engines EP on Computer Integrated Audio. That year also brought Word Out EP on Dispatch Recordings and Dust Cut EP on Symmetry Recordings.
