Ed:it & Data 3 - Limmy [SYMM052]

Symmetry are proud to announce a long awaited debut from Ed:it on the label. Teaming up on this A side with the talented Data 3, they deliver a proper tech roller, a style that’s somewhat illusive these days. Reminiscent of artists such as Konflict and Stakka & Skynet, “Limmy” has crunchy weight and an addictive groove. Featuring Ed:it’s analogue and earthy sound “Limmy” develops effectively as a clever journey leaving you wanting more.

A solo offering on the flip, “A Whole Thang” has a more playful flavour, whilst sonically matching it’s counterpart for style and substance. Ed:it is always true to his name with clever edited fills and production tricks keeping your ear interested till the last few bars. The more wonky and melodic bassline fits together nicely with stylish drums and hip hop vocals for a club tune that delivers every time.
