Minor Forms

Minor Forms is the drum and bass producer and DJ alias of London-based Justin Mann, who is also a member of the production trio Arcatype. Mann first got into electronic music through drum and bass after his older brother introduced him to Dillinja mixes when he was about 14. Music under the Minor Forms name has appeared on Flexout Audio, V Recordings, Symmetry Recordings, Sofa Sound Bristol and C.I.A. Records. In 2020, Mann released the single Biophonic EP on Vandal Records. In 2025, Transparent Audio released Zero Sum (Minor Forms Remix) with OB.

Mann began releasing music as Arcatype with his brother and a close friend before developing Minor Forms as a solo project. The Arcatype releases began around 2015. Flexout Audio released FWD, and V Recordings put out No Less EP in 2026. That year, he also released Deluxe with Kublai on Sofa Sound and The Set EP with Amoss on Symmetry Recordings. Mann also collaborates with Barney (Refine) as the drum-and-bass duo Re:Form. Their track “No Show” appeared on ProgRAM’s Pieces album series.
