Varkid – Wait For You
Dirtbox Recordings
It slips into the mix without making a scene. The vocal sits early, clean and steady, giving you room to stretch things out before the drums arrive.
When they do, they land sharp. Snare forward, groove locked, no wasted movement. It rolls with purpose. Underneath, the sub stays controlled, holding the weight without getting in the way of the vocal.
This is one for the middle of a set. When you want to keep things moving but ease the pressure slightly, let the room settle without losing focus.
From the album Finally, out on Dirtbox Recordings.
