Charlie Tee

Charlie Tee learnt to DJ on hand-me-down decks, practising in her room until mixing began to click. In a 2022 interview, Tee named Annie Mac as an influence on her broadcasting, and BTraits, Nina Las Vegas and Chloe Robinson as inspirations behind the decks.

In 2021, she became Radio 1’s first full-time female presenter and drum-and-bass specialist, hosting the station’s Drum & Bass Show. Her broadcasting has championed artists including Bou, Nia Archives, A Little Sound, Ewan McVicar and Venbee.

Tee runs the multi-genre label Total Music, also referred to as Total Records, and the Unitee events brand. Her performances have included Hospitality, Fabric, Snowboxx, Studio 338, NASS and Boardmasters. In 2026, she released the single Intro on Strength In Numbers, played Volks in September and appeared at Gaswrx Birmingham on 10 October.
