Duoscience is the production name of Edu Ventura, from São Paulo, whose work centres on drum and bass and liquid funk. Ventura began producing in 1997, drawing on R&B, soul, funk and gospel alongside those core styles. In 2012, Ventura founded Diskool Records. Duoscience released the album Duoscience Pres. Freestyle that year.
Duoscience also released the single Infinite EP on Soul Deep Recordings. Duoscience also released the EP Origins on M Ocean Records, which includes the tracks “Origins” and “Morfosis.” Ventura also released the album Recap on Diskool Records, featuring “Sunday,” “Moments” and “Black Jack.” His releases also include the EP Horizons on Tamborim Records and tracks on LuvDisaster Records.
Duoscience has worked with vocalists Collette Warren and Valiant Emcee on the EP Beco and on “Forcing the Love.” The track “Feeling It” and its Dub version were made with Keylo. Other collaborative work includes tracks with Dudawles. Duoscience released the EP Better This Way with Salem Focus and Orla. In 2018, Duoscience released Proverbs 4: 23 (Original) through Diskool Records.
