Formed in Birmingham, Alabama, Integrate brings together producers Black Carl! and VCTRE, who met in their hometown and began making music before developing their collaboration into a separate project. They have also described Integrate as a side project. In a 2021 interview, the pair discussed how the duo came together and their recent solo work. Their sound combines contorted bass, haunting synths and an industrial atmosphere.
The EP Definitive arrived in 2019, followed by the single Lidocaine in 2021. In 2023, Integrate released the single Ship Destroyer on Deadbeats and remixed Mr. Bill and eliderp’s Slaptivism. The duo also remixed Bricksquash’s Skreet Force One. In 2025, Integrate released the single Windchimes, credited to Black Carl! and VCTRE. Integrate also released the single Enter the Mirage.
Definitive appeared on Integrated Music Group, while Lidocaine came out on VALE, short for Various Artists Limitless Expression LLC. Mr. Bill's Tunes issued the 2023 remix with eliderp and Mr. Bill. In 2025, Shaolin (Remixes) appeared on Gud Vibrations with Mindset and Saka.
