Krakota

Sebastian Inwood began DJing at 15 and started making music in 2006, after learning drums and piano. Getting into music software with his brother led him towards drum and bass; he later learned Reason at college. Under the name Krakota, the Bournemouth-associated producer and DJ made his first release with Judda: “Solid Shout” / “Callow”, issued on C.I.A. Records in 2010. His early activity also included DJ appearances from that year, with London, Birmingham, Bristol, South and East UK, and Amsterdam among the places where he has played most often. His first event recorded by Resident Advisor was also in 2010. He is based in the United Kingdom and has been active in drum and bass for more than 20 years.

In 2012, “Block Breaker” appeared on Hospital Records’ Sick Music 3 compilation. The connection with Hospital continued with the Citadels EP in 2015 and the album Strange System in 2016. Inwood described the album as bringing together tracks shaped by ideas and creative processes he had developed over several years. His releases have also reached Shogun Audio, Metalheadz, UKF and Drum & Bass Arena. A collaboration with Urbandawn produced the five-track Focus Shift EP, after the pair began working together during Urbandawn’s UK tour.

Inwood signed exclusively to Sleepless Music in 2023, the label associated with Wilkinson. His 2025 releases included the single “Breathe In” on the label and “Weightless”, a Hospital Records single made with Fred V and Lottie Jones. That year he also joined ILLYA2.0, Jekyllhydeandseek and Sublow Hz on the single “Drum & Bass Rebels”, released on BLACKCARTEL.

In 2026, Inwood founded the independent drum-and-bass label Rhythm House under his own name. Its first release was Krakota’s single “Hold On”. That year also brought the single “High Hopes (Krakota Remix)” on Enhanced Recordings, made with Audien.
