Micky Finn is the DJ name of Michael Hearn, a British DJ and producer associated with jungle and drum and bass. Hearn grew up in South East London and was raised in Woolwich. As an early jungle-scene DJ, Finn played on pirate radio stations including Fantasy FM and Kool FM. He said he became a professional DJ after Andy Weatherall offered him a job, and recalled that he had met Weatherall at a party in Chapel Street Market.
Finn is a founder or co-owner of multiple record labels. He co-founded Urban Takeover with Gavin King and runs Finn People Productions and its sister label, Finn S. Finn and Darren Jay co-promote Sunbeatz; Finn also formerly co-promoted A.W.O.L. and Innovation. In his account of the scene’s early years, Finn said he was among the DJs present when A.W.O.L. began, alongside Trevor Fung, Swane-E, Kenny Ken and Jumpin’ Jack Frost.
Finn played at Electric Brixton in January 2026, The Cause in June and Basing House in August. In September 2026 he appeared at Hootananny Brixton and Air. His recent DJ appearances also include Eutopia Whs on 5 September 2026.
