Allsorts is a UK drum and bass label launched within the Grid Recordings Group as an outlet for deeper, more soulful sounds. Its music draws on jungle and breakbeat, with liquid funk at the centre and dancefloor and rollers also in the mix, and its releases ran from 2007 to 2013.
Electrosoul System’s Falling / Sing appeared in 2007, and the label’s 16-track compilation Liquid Allsorts: Drum & Bass, Vol. 1, mixed by A Sides, came out on 18 May 2009. Tantrum Desire, Matrix & Futurebound and Drumsound & Bassline Smith were on the roster, and Netsky and Hybrid Minds also released on Allsorts. Altered Plates followed in 2011, and in 2013 Maduk and Nymfo released Crossroads / Ordinary Ways on the label.
