Breed 12 Inches was established in 2008 as a sister imprint of Lifted Music, set up to develop emerging drum and bass artists before they moved on to release music through Lifted Music itself. Its music policy focused on progressive and aggressive drum and bass, and its releases also included neurofunk.
In 2008 Breed 12 Inches released Receptor’s single Rhyno / Intrusion. The following year Utopia and Kubrak’s Force Of Mind / Fast Forward appeared as the imprint’s third 12-inch release. The label also released Vamonos, credited to DaVIP and Encode, and issued Cruk’s Valhalla / Bring the Ruckus in 2015. Mefjus and Aeph were among the other artists who released music on Breed 12 Inches.
