DIVIDID is an independent drum and bass label from Rotterdam, started by Mark McCann (ABIS), Jonathan Kievit (Signal) and Lars Dingeman to release their own music and give friends and new artists a platform. It took shape after McCann left June Miller to continue as a solo artist, and Dingeman, who was already running Amsterdam’s Major League night and working at distributor Triple Vision, came in to manage it.
The first release, The Wall EP by ABIS, Signal and Tasha Baxter, came out in March 2018, followed that June by ABIS, Signal and Disprove’s “Angst / In Time”. Buunshin’s Presence EP arrived in 2019 and Tom Finster’s From Here On Blind in 2020, and Trinist, The Caracal Project, ALEPH, Magnetude and Malux have also released on the label, along with the WEAREHUMANS VOL.1 compilation.
