Hangar Records began in 2011 as a drum and bass label founded by a group of musicians and artists. Sativa Dub and Silent Type were behind the UK label, which ran until 2016. Its output ranged across jump-up, jungle, rollers and neurofunk. Among the artists whose music appeared on the label were T>I, Annix, Majistrate and Konichi. Annix’s Jazzing EP came out in January 2013, followed by Konichi’s Bad JuJu EP in March. Its singles included the 2012 release Lost / L.A. and the 2014 release All Knowing / Street Thug.
