HYBRID BLAK Records

HYBRID BLAK Records is a London label run by Keith Kamholz, who records as Mechanical Vein and is a member of Biomechanimal. It releases genre-crossing dark bass music, from industrial and midtempo to dark drum and bass, visceral electronica and hip-hop.

Its first-year compilation, Blaktracks I, came out in August 2021 with Biomechanimal, Mechanical Vein, KALCYFR and Saltee, followed by Blaktracks II that October and Blaktracks III in March 2024. Singles include Zardonic’s 2020 remix of Mechanical Vein’s “New Blood” and Paperclip’s 2023 remix of “Breakdown” by Biomechanimal and Mechanical Vein, and Nvrsoft and Despersion have also released on the label.
