Maraki Records was founded in 2017 by My Nu Leng and FineArt (Friction), and the idea for the label came out of a night out the founders shared. Based in Brighton and Hove, it centres on UK bass music. Its first release was FineArt’s In Too Deep EP, which included collaborations with My Nu Leng and Taiki Nulight.
FineArt and Skepsis teamed up for the 2018 single With U, and in 2022 Maraki released Satisfy, a breakbeat and UK bass single by MMEE and Doc Zee. NOTION and Holy Goof are among the other artists on the label. Maraki relaunched in 2025 under the guidance of Shogun Music Group, and in 2026 it released Different, which brought D Double E and Flava D together with SKALAH.
