Neosignal is a German drum and bass label established by Phace and Misanthrop in 2008. While touring Australia and New Zealand that year, the founders developed the idea for the label, seeking greater artistic freedom and control of their musical direction. Its music brings neurofunk together with experimental electronic approaches, and its releases include work by Phace and Misanthrop, both individually and in collaboration. The label has also issued music by Noisia, Alix Perez and Spor.
Among its releases is From Deep Space, a 14-track album by Phace and Misanthrop, alongside their 2011 Energy EP and the 2012 release “Progression.” The six-track Energy EP, featuring Phace, Misanthrop and Noisia, was the label’s tenth output. In 2019, its tenth-anniversary release was Neosignal X, a remix compilation issued in three parts. Phace and Misanthrop are also involved in Neosignal Live, a live electronic project that joins digital performance with audiovisual experimentation.
