Promo Audio recordings is a United Kingdom drum and bass label founded in 2005 by Brazilian DJ and producer Rusty, with Jump Up as its focus. Its roster includes Difend, Natural Forces and Nick The Lot, and its tracks combine low, dark bass with finely worked rhythms. The label promotes its music through social media and other online platforms, and has presented events and showcases in the United Kingdom and beyond, including Promo Audio Night parties in São Paulo.
Early in its release history, the label put out four 12-inch vinyl singles distributed by UK-based Nu-Urban Music. As digital sales grew, it scaled back vinyl pressings and developed its digital output. In 2013 it released Made in Brazil / In Dub, a single by DJ Rusty and Level 2. Releases in 2024 included DJ Rusty’s Dangerous Maze EP and Street Series VOL.9, a collaboration with Urban Frequency.
