Razors Edge

Razors Edge began in 1996 as a Metalheadz offshoot intended to present remixes of music from its parent label. Its releases span Atmospheric, Jungle and Techstep within drum and bass. Goldie, Photek, Ink, Loxy and Resound have all appeared on the label. Metalheadz, a British drum-and-bass label founded in 1994, included Razors Edge in its 2005 schedule, with two records that year.

Among its earlier releases were J Majik’s “Your Sound” remix in 1997 and Digital & Spirit / Digital’s “Mission Accomplished / Far Out (Remix)” in 1998. In 2012, Razors Edge issued Rido’s “Twisted VIP (feat. Thomas Oliver).” The label released 2020 remasters of Goldie’s “Still Life (Photek Remix)” and Photek’s “The Rain (Photek Remix),” followed by Ink, Loxy and Resound’s “Headz Roll (Remix) / Think” in 2021.
