Rubik Digital is a drum and bass label releasing liquid funk and neurofunk, and it is linked with Rubik Records, the San Diego label that has put out drum and bass since 2002. Steve Jeffery and Douglas Ross ran the label and tied it to the Rubik Cube drum and bass club night.
Calculon, Kelly Dean, Adam Form and Andy Sim’s Wait Up / Close Call appeared on June 12, 2008, and ATP, Dave Owen and Soultec’s Way Back When / Mr JC in 2010. Submorphics released Organ Grinder / Mellow Madness in 2012, and Command Strange, René LaVice and Random Movement have also released on Rubik Digital. In 2017 the label put out the three-part What We Do Before Dawn series, made up of Dusk, Midnight and Dawn, with Eavesdrop on the soulful first part.
