Calyx and Kemal finally collaborate on ‘Above The Sun’ for Blackout

After 28 years of friendship, Calyx and Kemal have made their first track together.

‘Above The Sun / Boom’ is out now on Blackout Music NL. Kemal joins Calyx on “Above The Sun,” while “Boom” is a solo Calyx cut — a two-tracker that pairs the long-awaited team-up with a standalone statement.

UKF framed the collab as two drum & bass titans finally locking in after nearly three decades. Blackout Music NL is the home for the release.

Stream both sides and decide which one hits first: the joint “Above The Sun,” or Calyx alone on “Boom.”
