The drum & bass duo’s new single also lands on their 10-track album Generic Everything, out October 9.
Chase & Status link with Little Simz on “Carnage,” a new single released October 6 via Warner Records. It’s a drum & bass and jungle pairing that puts one of UK rap’s sharpest voices in the duo’s club-minded orbit.
The track also appears on Generic Everything, Chase & Status’ 10-track album, released October 9. Little Simz joins a wide-ranging cast on the record, alongside J Hus, Skrillex, Giggs, D Double E and others. That cross-scene pull is part of the point: the duo’s latest project moves between rave, rap and soundsystem culture rather than sitting neatly in one lane.
“Carnage” makes a neat focal point for that approach: a focused meeting of the pair’s dancefloor roots and Simz’s incisive MC presence. No guest-heavy detour, just one track built around a clear collision of voices and worlds.
Give the single a spin, then run it in sequence on Generic Everything and hear how it sits among the album’s other collaborations.
