Mexico City’s Isaac Maya returns to Serial Killaz with ‘A Legendary Monster Hunter EP’, six jump-up tracks themed on classic horror, out now.
The EP landed on October 30 under catalogue number KILLAZ158. The monster roll call runs ‘Vampire’, ‘The Curse of the Mummy’, ‘Zombies’, ‘The Devil’, ‘Van Helsing’ and ‘Demons’.
The label pitches it as “six tracks of filthy jump-up D&B to send the creatures of the night back into hiding”, with horror samples and B-movie atmosphere over heavyweight basslines and rolling drums, and insists “this is no novelty Halloween release”.
It follows Maya’s earlier outings on Serial Killaz and is available through the label’s store and on streaming services.
