Haus Catz’s debut LP grew from ideas started during a weekend in a Rocky Mountains cabin, taking in bass-heavy house and club music alongside more percussive, leftfield excursions. “Forest of the Mind” features Xae on djembe, adding live hand percussion to the album’s wide-ranging palette.
Released on the Denver crew’s Catz Trax imprint, the record closes with Sinistarr’s remix of “My Haus,” bringing the Detroit producer’s perspective into Haus Catz’s club-focused world.
