Marvin Hay performs as MC Coppa, a producer whose releases include the 2009 EP Style and Flavour. In 2015, MC Coppa released the single “Wormdrive / Quantum” with Signs on Vandal Records. The 2020 single “Amplify” was released by MC Coppa with Retrospect on Scantraxx Silver.
His debut album, An Act of Aggression, was a self-directed DIY project. Coppa says touring in China taught him how to engage a crowd even when listeners did not understand English. In 2024, he was named the “Voice of Let It Roll,” becoming the festival’s official voice and representative. His collaboration with Brazed, “Strange Things,” was the first step in a relaunch involving the label We Don’t Play.
